Thank you Pat, Ken and John! I did smooth several out with a different "brush" and below is an example that could pass for a watercolor.
I've always been impatient with this type of work and wished I had more time to learn it.
I really don't do this any more. But it was a fun way to spread my wings for awhile.
I realize these examples are not anything like what you do Will!

It's true that it isn't like anything that I do myself Millie, but that doesn't detract from the fact that you've found the courage to explore new mediums.  Computer graphics can be extremely intimidating and aren't for the faint hearted, but that doesn't mean that anyone should avoid chasing those new horizons. You should be very proud of yourself for making that journey Millie.  Smiley

There are many professional artists out there that never venture from their 'comfort zones' and will never move from using the same old regular medium that they have always used. There are probably good watercolour painters that would be stunning oil painters and vice versa.  Art should always be about stretching the boundaries.

I am compared to most standards a beginner at this but i do use several photo manipulation software, when i started i learned on paint shop pro 8, now i have moved up and out of my comfort zone (personally i felt soooo comfortable with that program i hated getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new..... that was untillll.) I recently purchased a new computer which had on it Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 and currently in school we are learning CS3 and for home use i have purchased CS4 the Adobe CS3 and 4 are pretty much the same. anywho.... i haven't opened up psp 8 since laughs.... i am also starting to learn Indesign, which is annoyingly confusing.. but i will get the hang of it.... perhaps maybe when i get the nerve i might put up some of my stuff on here that i have done in the past from psp 8 and now.

ps does anyone know where i can if it is on this site.... drawing for dummies... or drawing 001... or under projects if there is a project for extreme beginners, like i said before i have only recently began drawing like shortly before christmas.

Pennie, it is true that our drawing projects have gradually become harder over time, mainly because we've all progressed with them. It is my intention to try and simplify them a bit in future. But in the meantime, why not look back at our early Drawing Projects and see if there's anything that takes your fancy.
