Thank you all kindly for the anniversary messages! We do appreciate them.
Well, I finally found out what was wrong on line and not being able to get into web sites. I tried to do a virus scan after signing off line and there was no virus program there. Haven't a clue how that happened. Anyway, reinstalled it and all seems fine now.
Ken and John, you are both computer type wizard types ( Evil ). Do you have any idea why an E-mail from the US to anywhere else that has an  _
(underline) in the address won't go through for me? Gilbert's relatives in France have such an address and it always comes back to me with a long explanation. Ingrid's address came back to me, though I don't think it has before. But I have another friend in Scotland and hers come back also.
I don't mind corresponding by snail mail so usually not a problem.
I'm going to try tonight to finish the last watercolor. It's about half finished and doing okay. Now I'm afraid to do any more on it!
You all take care.

Does it happen if you use 'Reply' rather than type the address in? As Ken said, let's see the explanation, though if Ken can't figure it, I surely won't.  Wink

Morning all ( just about) did pop on before but it was a flying visit.
I thought I'd make an early start on painting. Decided on one of the old painting projects ( Geraniums) Mixed a couple of paints up to dabble a bit and test colours first. I mixed up a load of pale blue wash for a bit of background colour. Next thing I knew, the PC tower and my legs were wearing the paint Shocked It just kind of jumped off the desk at me ( honest) Wiped up the mess off the PC first then took all paints etc out away from the desk, I've banned it from there now. PC seems to be ok but I wont risk that happening again ( you just can't trust these paints)

Hello everyone.  I had to laugh at the "jumping paints"!  I had to pack up my oils over twenty years ago as they would "jump" on the walls, the furniture, etc.  I discovered my oh so obvious problem...I had children!!  Am hoping to get those oils out soon...doubtful they will jump any more...in fact...I know I have to get new ones as I'm sure they are all dried up!

Glad to see you're back, Millie.  Smiley

I might have some fabulous news soon...keep your fingers crossed for us!

Got my fingers crossed ... but don't keep us in suspense too long. It sounds exciting, whatever it is.

G'day all, was chatting with Millie on AOL/AIM today and she cannot get onto the forum, her website or much else. Sad
She said she will have to do what she has said can wait and contact AOL.
Fingers crossed they get it all sorted out for her.
Hopes to be back on soon.

Well, it didn't happen.  My husband had applied for a job in Ireland a few weeks back and we found out today that someone else got the job!  I'm very disappointed in that I thought a trip to UK to surprise a few of you would be fabulously exciting!  They did mention that another position may open up soon and asked if we would be interested...we said maybe.

However, I am planning a trip over there (UK) in May to see my daughter...depending on my baby llamas.  I'll keep you posted.

Also, had a series of tests done with the neurologist and found out today that I am fine.  Smiley  AND...I have one final exam for my school and am FINISHED!  On to drawing, writing and learning all the tricks of the trades from all of you!!

So, back to normal life as best we can...which on this end is NEVER normal!

Thanks for the update about Millie, Bev. She's sent me her MPP so I'll get that posted first chance I get.

Bonnie, sorry to hear hubby didn't get the job. But great news from the neurologist. Get that final exam out of the way and then get those brushes out ... we can't wait to have you join us on the projects and everything else. Wink
