Hey Everyone....

How y'all been?  Sorry I've been away for such a long time.... life!?!?!?!  Yep life sure gets in the way of making art, at times, dun it?  My reasons are mostly medical.... I'm now officially, in the words of the late great Ian Dury, a Raspberry Ripple!!! *O*  Yep, I have had to take to using a wheel chair most of the time... which really kinda messed with my head, for a long time, I can tell you!!!  

But I'm in acceptance mode now... and finally getting some really good Rehabilitation Therapy, at a local day hospital, which deals mainly with victims of strokes.  I'm the only 'young un' who goes there mind, so I really have to liven the place up - and to be honest, being put in that 'role' has certainly done me the world of good! lol

So come on..... deal the goss.... who's painting what.... who's drawing wot..... come on.... I need information!!!

TRACEY??? Bloody hell!!! (Excuse me). Would you believe I actually started typing out an email to you only last week, asking how you are and where you've got to, but I decided it would look as if I was touting for business so I deleted it unfinished.

Wow ... sounds as if you've really had a bad hand of cards dealt to you. How on earth do you manage to always sound so bloody cheerful? You're an inspiration to us all, of that there's no doubt.

We've all been ticking along nicely. Progressing with our art and messing with the projects, as we do. What about your art? Are you painting, daubing, sketching, whatever?

Hello missus  I wondered where you'd been hiding. Sorry you've been having a rough time of things. Hey, if you've gone mobile maybe we could set up a chariot race, mind you I might be accused of cheating as I've got the scooter not the chair now ( killed it  ) fab to see you around again.

Hey forgot to welcome all the newcomers who've joined since I last came in ere... hope ya all enjoying ya selves and I look forward to getting to know you all, and seeing some of your creations n having a natter. 

John, nice to see ya again matey, you shoulda sent that mail... would have given me the nudge I needed to come back here, and of course I wouldn't have thought you was touting for trade!!!    I've missed coming here, but my mood just hasn't been right, and I would only have bought ya'll down.... n yeah, life certainly does deal us all some bum cards at times... but I do think him up there knows who can deal with it, who's strong enough to cope... and so sends the mighty trials our way.  And hey - no matter how hard it gets - there's always someone being dealt a much worser hand, innit?  I think its my strong faith that pulls me through and keeps me cheerpy... and when I'm not - I keep schtuum... or put on me clown make-up n shoes n make everyone think I'm not torn apart inside!!  My art? Hmmmmmmm to be honest, I aint done much since I was last here, this week I've been visiting me studio for the first time since last summer.... I've been playing around with the acrylics... and have finally been bitten by the art bug again

Hey Gilly!! Yayyyyy a chariot race!!! Was that filum??? Ahhhh Chariots of fire!!! lol Can just see me n you racing down Birkenhead high street at dawn..... winner gets a evening ( ) with Chad Kroeger?  Hmmmmm But you have a motor..... so I gets a head start!!  Hey them scooters are fab en they?  I hire one from the Swansea Mobility sceme now n then, the pavements in Swansea have a terrible camber which any chair user knows is a nightmare to push ya self on... gives ya one arm the size of the hulks and one that totally wastes away!!!   So, where have I been hiding? Mostly in facebook, playing the dreaded Mafia wars....  n Twitter.  Glad the arty bug has bitten me at long last... does the mood swings wonders!  Hope ya keeping well? Hey have you moved house yet... last time we spoke you was looking to move?

Tracey! Oh My GOSH! I don't know what to say. But you do sound a person who is getting on with life. Good for you. It goes without saying I'm terribly sorry for you and what you've been through.
Yes, people are always, somewhere, worse off than you. But that is no reason not to be sad and unhappy and angry over what happened. It's human nature and I would think it very strange if you hadn't felt that way a bit. I will say that you would have had us all behind you, and I'm sure you know that. Having said that, I also can see you didn't forget us, and that's so WONDERFUL! Welcome, welcome back!!!!

I am sorry to hear you are having to use a wheelchair, but so happy to hear you are dealing with it. I know you will have gone through hell to to get where you are now, and I wish we had been around to help and support you. If you need anyone of us please just yell.  When I first took M.E the hardest part was coming to terms with it.  Once that was done the 'dealing' with it was so much easier.

So good to see that one by one we are all coming together again.

I hear what ya saying, Millie, and yep, deep down I knew you’d all be there for me during my time of stress n woe...but me being me,  I  tend to clam up and shut up, when I have a problem.  I like to share my joy – but bottle up my glumness – I really hate to bring peeps down with my woes... there's enough sadness in the world without me adding to it!!

LOL Rob  - nice to see the the Chinese Government are finally allowing you to post, when I did me disappearing act, I remember you had been gagged and was having probs getting threw to us. Hey.. believe me – you’d need to be very very strong to push my chair – I’ve put on almost 5 stone since I been using it *O*

Awwww Ingrid, you say the kindest things!  I am getting some really good help at the Rehab place with all my physical stuff, the mental stuff is being dealt with by a clinical neuro-psychologist – whom I’m very lucky to be seeing about once a month... would you believe there is only one for all of Wales!!!!  He’s as mad as a hatter himself – but soooo clever, and lovely.  He thinks I may also be suffering from some kind of thing similar to ME, just to add to my joys eh?!!!  Yeah, ‘dealing’ with it is certainly the biggest and hardest hurdle to get over with these illnesses... that’s my problem see, I was always the kind of girl that went walking in the mountains armed with nowt but a book, sketching stuff, an ipod and a bottle of water... very independent, and self assured... always in control of my life and where it was heading...now I have to get used to being ‘ever-so-slightly-outta -control ‘ of most aspects of my life.... taking a backseat isn’t summat I do well!!

Hi Ian – yep – full o beans – and anyfink else in the larder – I am an absolute pig!! LOL

Long time no hear! I've missed you, wondered if you'd dropped us. 
I glad you're back! hmmm  Facebook....I've taken to there also. I'm
housebound for now, had a couple of seizures...Dr. said no driving! 
Law here says you have to be seizure free for six months before
you can drive again. Drop me a personal message on here & give
me your address on FB, if you wouldn't mind?  I play some of the
games too.
