Just finished mine and managed to get a photo of it. That's one (more!) very good thing about long summer evenings, it makes it easier to take the snaps of my paintings!
I liked doing this one very much, it's a very pretty scene, Jackie, thanks

Love all the paintings, it's good to see so many versions of the same scene, I've seen a few things that will help me especially use of shadows.
Hey Dad, that includes yours very nice.

Helen
, very, very nice. Wish I could "make it look so easy",
. It's so nice and gently done for such a scene. Lovely painting.
Ian
, Yours is great! I love it. Pat yourself on the back!!! Those aren't turkeys, are they Ian?

Wonderful paintings everyone .. I agree with you Loaf, didn't Dad do well.
Was yours a watercolour Millie? it is a lovely painting. I am assuming yours is in acrylics Helen .. very nice indeed. I still haven't tried the acrylic palette out yet.
Now for that car .. Hmmmm!!

Lovely painting Ingrid ... I do love your sky. You always do such nice skies ... you'll have to give me some pointers.

I do like your painting Ingrid!! Very, very nice. What a watercolor should be like!
Yes, mine is watercolor but as usually I tried to paint as if I were painting with oil.

Thanks folks..
John, I probably do the same as you do. Wet the sky, brush down with your colour adding water as you go and then dab with clean Andrex. Sometimes when I apply the water I leave some tiny dry patches, this adds to the overall effect I feel.
As has been said before it gives me a buzz to see all the different versions of the one photograph. I miss seeing bugsy's painting there. Still time left for all you missing regulars to get your brushes out.

I've put the last of the paintings on to the
June Project page
. For anyone still wanting to have a go at this one, there is no closing date so don't rush, but the July project will be unveiled tomorrow ... not that it will be a surprise for anyone.
