Introduction
I am delighted to have the opportunity
of sharing with you the superb work of
Jill Henderson-Long.
Jill started writing at the age
of seven and has been publishing
work since she was twelve.
To date, her poems and articles
have appeared in anthologies,
annuals, magazines and booklets.
She also had a series of children's
stories broadcast on local radio.
Her interests include photography,
reading and theatre trips and she
lives in Surrey with husband Steve.
Jill says "I have long nursed a dream to have my work read by people who just want to read it - I have no interest in world-wide fame and noteriety. I just want to share what I see as a very, very precious gift. It costs me nothing to write poems - and the majority of mine are of the inspirational type that I hope will help others by lifting their spirits when they most need it."
