Not done any Ch Brush painting for weeks, got some new paper so i tried it out. I threw 3 away and kept this one. Don't know what flowers they are, i just went with the flow. It still feels and looks very amateurish.

A5 Ch xuan paper. Ch watercolour paints and Ch brushes. My 2 personal seal.

Well it does not look amateurish. The flowers are beautifully painted (whatever they are), just love the opera rose type hues. I think you've improved masses since you first steps at this genre. Its not easy I am sure. The painting looks Chinese. Well done. Jxx

Thankyou Julie, you have made me feel better about it now, and i agree it does look more Chinese than my others.

Lovely painting Lucy. No idea what the flowers are, but I like them anyways.

I don't think it looks amateurish at all, it's soft and delicate, and it really doesn't matter what the flowers are, they're lovely. I wouldn't mind them in my garden whatever they're called :)

Thankyou Mags and Eli, for your very kind words.
I think i'll call them Lucy flowers. Thompson and Morgan will be selling the seeds very soon.  ;D  ;D  ;D  They also come in Sky-blue pink with yellow dots.
